The comparetively recent garden is developed by Yataro Iwasaki since 1878, the founder of Mitsubishi Group in Meiji Era, with various stones collected nationwide. The garden is located in eastside of Tokyo and partially became a park after the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923).
The garden is clearly distinguished from other vassals’ gardens in terms of its variety of stones, and islands in the pond where you can land.
