Sumida Hokusai Museum – Footsteps of renowned Ukiyoe Painter

Hokusai (1760-1849), known as a Ukiyoe (Woodblock print, literally pictures of floating world) Painter who left “Fugoku(mount Fuji) 36 views” depicting the mountain from a variety of views.

The museum exhibits his personal history including where he lived (mostly in Sumida Ward in Tokyo), and paintings interactively. Compact, but worth to visit if you have interest.
