Yokote, in the midst of Tohoku (East North) area in Japan, is renowned by heavy snow. On February 15th and 16th, they have the Snow Festival in the town. During the period, you’ll see many Kamakura (Snow House) built in many corners of the city. Unfortunately, we did not have much snow in this year, but people carried in snow to build them.
