Noodle Stand – Fast food since Edo Period

Japanese buckwheat noodles have been fast-food for commoners since Edo Period, in line with Sushi. The noodle stands, as I sang in “Noodle Stand 2021”, they serve a variety of toppings – mainly “Tempra” or deep fries, while you are asked to eat them with no chair (recently chairs are usual in the chain operated stands).

Buy a ticket through a vending machine, slip yourself into narrow floor. Slurping noodles will make your noodles tasty, by mixing up buckwheat flavor, tuna flake based soup, and air.

In my case, it takes less than 15 minutes from buying ticket to leave the place.

With a variety of deep fries (onion, carrot, burdock etc.).

For a variety, take a look at “Noodle Stand 2021“.
